When can I start the Online MBA course?
There are three intakes per year: January, May or September.
How long does the Online MBA course take to complete?
You have several options. You can double up on modules to graduate in as little as 1 year 8 months, or balance full-time work with your studies to graduate in 2 years 8 months. If you prefer, you can pause your studies and take up to five years to complete the course.
How is the Online MBA course delivered?
During your time on the course, you’ll work and study through a mix of video lectures, real-life case studies and interactive assignments.
Students also have the opportunity to discuss coursework with classmates, ask questions of staff and collaborate on projects. It’s the same high quality we offer in our campus courses – but in a more convenient and flexible format for busy working professionals.
Rather than schedule synchronous sessions that require you to log in at specific times, we record lectures to give you the freedom to study around your other commitments.
How many hours per week are required?
We recommend setting aside 12–15 hours per module per week for study – but that is flexible.
There will be deadlines within each module, and some may require you to allocate extra time. By receiving your calendar at the start of your course, you’ll be able to create your own schedule.
Can I complete an Online MBA at NTU while in full-time employment?
Yes. The course is tailored to fit around your lifestyle and is well suited to students with full-time work commitments or family obligations. You study the course online and there are numerous ways of interacting with the curriculum that can work with your schedule.
If you have the freedom to work part-time while studying or have the option to take a sabbatical, you may choose the shorter Online MBA Fast Track to get your qualification sooner.
How much will the Online MBA cost?
The total tuition for this course is £17,000. This can be paid in full or in instalments.
Fees are for the 2021/22 academic year intake and will not increase so long as you complete your studies within three years of enrolment.
What job prospects are there after qualifying?
MBA graduates have found employment as senior managers in all types and sizes of organisations, from global corporations to SMEs and start-ups.
This is down to the curriculum followed on all three versions of the course, which has been carefully curated to include the skills and knowledge desired most by today’s employers.
The international recognition and accreditation of both NTU and its Online MBA means there are opportunities to work anywhere in the world after graduation too.

How are students assessed?
