Angela Enright

Angela is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing and Executive Education and has academic responsibility for the development and implementation of the Business Schools’ personal development provision for post-experience students.  This is across a number of courses including the full time MBA, the level 7 Senior Leaders and Managers Degree Apprenticeship and the Online MBA.

Angela is module leader and teaches on the Personal, Professional and Leadership Development modules helping students to gain new perspectives through critical reflection and to apply this new knowledge to their personal and professional development so they can fulfil their leadership potential.

Angela also teaches postgraduate students and is module leader for the Transformational Leadership Development module on the MSC in Marketing supporting students as they bring together their skills and motivations to make an impact in addressing sustainability and ethical issues in their future careers. Angela also supports these students in their placement year in industry supporting their experiential learning by encouraging critical reflection on the relationship between theory and practice in a commercial environment.

Angela also mentors students both at postgraduate and post-experience helping them to develop their personal and professional skills and to assess their social, cultural and personal values, mindsets and actions.

In addition, Angela also mentors on the on-line MBA supporting students globally on their personal and professional leadership development.

Angela has experience of teaching internationally both on the on-line MBA and as part of her Executive Education role supporting corporate students globally with their personal and professional leadership development.

Angela contributes to the activities of the Trent Institute for Learning and Teaching for Sustainability and Employability and Workplace Learning.

Angela is currently studying the level 7 Academic Professional Apprenticeship (APA) (Specialist Route: Teaching) and through this is developing her knowledge and expertise in designing, delivering, researching, and evaluating teaching, learning and assessment. The APA is underpinned by the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP).
