Phil Considine

Phil is a principal lecturer in the Executive Education and Corporate Relations Team and Programme Leader for the Executive MBA and the Certificate in Public Sector Management. He is also the module leader for the Strategic Change Management module on the online MBA. Phil's teaching encompasses Corporate Social Responsibility, Strategic Management and Change Management.

Phil's research interest is in Corporate Social Responsibility and his PhD thesis examined the ways in which organisations use CSR as a tool for engagement and to help staff understand what is important to the organisation.

Phil is a Director of Hill Holt Wood, an award-winning social enterprise.

Hill Holt Wood is a sustainably managed ancient woodland situated on the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire border. Established in 1995, it offers alternative education for children excluded from school, training for the unemployed, courses on countryside management, country and rural crafts, survival and leadership skills and unusual methods of construction. In addition, Hill Holt in Gainsborough manages and rents houses to vulnerable young adults.

Phil is also an accredited United Nations Consultant having run programmes for the UN Department of Peace Keeping Forces.
