Online MSc Construction Project Management: Admissions requirements

To be eligible to apply for our Online MSC Construction Project Management, you will need to have an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK honours degree (2.2 or above), plus an APEL of relevant work experience.

In exceptional circumstances, applicants with non-standard entry requirements and/or relevant experience may be considered. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Entry requirements checklist

  • Completed online application form: Email admissions@online.ntu.ac.uk to let us know that you intend to apply for the Online MSc Construction Project Management, along with your intended start date. We will then send you a unique user link to submit your documents.
  • Degree and minimum GPA: An undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK honours degree (2.2 or above) in a construction or industry-related subject.
  • Transcripts: You will need to submit academic transcripts from all previous qualifications to verify your educational background. These can be scanned and emailed, but please ensure they are official copies.
  • Statement of purpose: This is your chance to explain your motivation for applying, your educational and professional background, and why you feel the online course is right for you.
  • Two references: Your references can be in the form of letters of recommendation, sent as a PDF via email, or as an email from the referee’s professional account. All references sent directly from the applicant must be accompanied by either a wet signature, letterhead or a business card relating to your chosen contact. If a reference is sent from a corporate email account, this is not required.
  • Curriculum vitae (CV) or résumé: You may need to supply an up-to-date CV, so we can verify your skills and experience. This helps us to make sure you have the right entry requirements and appropriate background for the course you wish to study.
  • Evidence of language: If English is not your first language, studying online at a UK University can be very challenging. That’s why we make sure that you have the right language skills to succeed from the start. Upon submitting your application, you will be asked to supply evidence of an up-to-date English language certificate or alternative qualification. For more information about our English language criteria, visit our dedicated page or speak to us to find out more.
  • Additional requirements: APEL of relevant work experience.

Applicants with non-standard entry requirements and/or relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis.
