When can I start the course?
There are three intakes per year: January, May or September.
How long does the online course take to complete?
The Online MSc Construction Project Management course can be completed in 2.5 years. If you prefer, you can pause your studies and can take up to five years to complete the MSc.
We also offer short online CPD courses in Construction Project Management, with each course lasting 8 weeks.
What is the time commitment for studying online?
We recommend setting aside 12–15 hours per module per week for study – but that is flexible.
Are classes held at specific times?
Our online course can be undertaken at any time of the day, giving you the flexibility to study when it suits you. However, your assignments will have specified due dates that must be met.
How much does the course cost?
Tuition fees for the entire 2.5 year course are £11,000 and can be paid in instalments of £820 per module.
Fees are for the 2021/22 academic year intake and will not increase so long as you complete your studies within 3 years of enrolment.
Can I take the course while in full-time employment?
Yes, the Online MSc Construction Project Management is a flexible programme of study, designed to suit students who would like to study around their current work or family commitments.
Do I have to come to campus to complete the course?
No, the entire course is completed online.
Is this course RICS accredited?
The full masters course is RICS accredited. However, the short CPD courses in construction project management are not.

RICS is the world’s leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property, infrastructure, and construction. This endorsement is a hallmark of the quality of our online course. Do we accept transfer credits?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently accept transfer credits, unless you are transferring from one of our short online CPD courses onto the full masters.
What are the admissions requirements?
Prospective students must have:
- BSc 2.2 (Hons) in a construction-related subject, or relevant professional body membership (usually chartered status)
- APEL of relevant work experience
Applicants with non-standard entry requirements and/or relevant experience may be considered on an individual basis.
Can you study more than one module at a time?
If you are applying for one of our short CPD courses, so long as your timetable permits, you can study more than one CPD course at a time. Students on the full Online MSc Construction Project Management will study one module at a time.
Will I get the same access to materials?
As an online student, you will have the same level of learning materials to support your studies as our campus-based students.
Will I have the same access to university support services?
You will have access to our dedicated online student services team, who can help answer any queries you have.
Will I get a transcript?
Yes. Following the completion of your studies, you will be sent a transcript that displays your new qualification.
What are the alumni benefits?
Students on the Online MSc Construction Project Management will receive the same alumni benefits as campus-based students. If you complete a short course online, you will not be eligible for all alumni benefits.
